This is a good night for the first time potter. We will work as a small group or individuals using basic techniques & the wheel with demonstrations. Learn from a potter with over 25 years teaching experience.

Wednesday Day Potters

This workshop is instruction on a needs basis as student skill levels very. The novas and incoming beginners will have demos each class and enjoy an open studio atmosphere and learning from a small group of moms, potters and artist. Be creative when your kids are in school. Make pottery as a gift or just to enjoy the creative outlet. Learn from a potter with over 25 years teaching experience.

Thursday Night Pottery

A beginner and intermediate pottery workshop that allows you to explore the aspects of sculptural and functional pottery. As a new potter the group will try to develop your skills on the wheel. Demos on bowls,mugs, vases and more wheel work. We will work as a small group creating clay art objects and pots using the potter’s wheel and basic techniques, coil, slab construction. The group will have wheel time and demonstrations. Along with Stoneware Glazing introduction.

Pottery Kids Intermediate

A wheel & hand building workshop teaching coil, slab building, pinch pot, and other pottery techniques.  Using new and continued techniques we will create functional pottery and clay sculptures.

Ages 8-12 • Saturdays 5 weeks • 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Pottery Kids

A hand building workshop teaching coil, slab building, pinch pot, and other pottery techniques.
Young artists will explore these techniques to create functional pottery and sculptures.
With intro to potter’s wheel.

Ages 6-10 • Saturdays 5 weeks • 10:30am - 12:00pm. 

Advance Pottery Kids & Teens

Great for new or growing potter, this class has more wheel time and advance hand building technique.  Students will be encouraged to work larger and on sets to improve their wheel skills.  Instructor’s approval is required to take this class.

Ages 12-16 • Saturdays 5 weeks • 12:30pm - 2:00pm .

Little Potters

Young children will learn to hand build with clay. We will have fun with clay techniques like pinch pots, coiling, slabs, and sculpture.  Emphasis will be placed on individual creativity and understanding.

Ages 4-6 • Saturdays 5 weeks • 9:00am - 10:00am.

NEW Saturday Afternoon Beginner Pottery

Tuesday Advance Potters Spring

Continue to develop your skills on the wheel. Demos on bowls, handles, Lids and more wheel.  Focus will be placed on sets and refining of skills and application of glaze and surface decoration.  Three prior pottery class sessions required. Try some new techniques & work with the wheel while learning from exciting pottery demonstrations. Learn quality potting from a potter with 25 years teaching experience.

Tuesday Kids Drawing & Painting Spring

A beginner’s drawing and painting class that explores the use paints, color and of layers of imagery. We will sketch, render & paint a still life and nature: . Children will explore different drawing techniques with emphasis placed on basic skills of line , shadow, perspective and more. Cartoon & Fantasy

Ages 6-10 • Tuesdays 6 weeks • 4:00pm - 5:30pm.
